This city is have a super duper potential in economic sector
Large Chinese population giving a secure future about the private sector

I always transit for one or two days before I back to Balikpapan from Kuching so I know quite a lot about this is city

Currently A Yani Megamall is the largest shopping mall in this city
And they planned to build Pontianak Town Square now
I've saw the rendering pic and its very nice
despite I think that is just a "dream project" for me

There are two bridges:
- Kapuas Bridge on Kapuas River --> connecting south and east Pontianak
- Landak Bridge on Landak River --> connecting east and north Pontianak
You can see those bridge from the map above

You also can use ferry to acrros the river.

I ever read in newspaper that this city ahve a great potential as a river city just like Venice and London with the river surrounding the city

Too bad like other Indonesian city, this city doesnt have a good city planning. What a waste with such a great potential

Venice in Indonesia man!!!
