Una gran parte de los quiteños siempre hemos tenido un amor tremendo por la ciudad y sus tradiciones, por eso pienso que la ciudad antigua se conservó en gran medida, la ciudad creció hacia el norte, el sur y los valles al oeste, preservando el centro. En esta ciudad podrán encontrar arquitectura desde el siglo XVI hasta lo contemporáneo.

hermoso el centro historico de Quito, pero hay algunas calles que tienen un desagradable cableado creo que lo usan para el transito de unos buses, eso seria lo unico observable.

lo que usted menciona son los cables del trolebús, recuerde que son vehículos eléctricos y se alimentan con catenarias, son de tecnología antigua pero ayudaron a preservar el centro ya que los vehículos de combustión interna arrojan al ambiente elementos que degradan las construcciones, los trolebuses que se han venido usando en Quito no producen emisiones contaminantes.

De ahi debo comentar que si hay cables que no tienen relación con el sistema trolebús, hay sectores donde se cuenta con instalaciones subterráneas pero no es generalizado aún.
