^ i think qiajiang represent hangzhou, thus hangzhou CBD is named after qianjiang.

completion date are mentioned for some buildings but not for the whole CBD. Since all the buildings here are UC or already completed, then most of them can be done before 2008.

Very impressive. The scrapers look really good. Is this all getting built in one go or what?

This project is absolutely amazing!

Btw, some more info about the first building you saw in the thread.

Zhe Jiang Fortune Finance Center
Hangzhou - China

Status: Proposal
Architect: John Portman & Associates

The Zhe Jiang Fortune Finance Center site is ideally located in the Hangzhou Qian Jiang New City. In response to the master plan, two office towers were created, a 722 foot (220 meter) main tower and a 328 foot (100 meter) secondary tower, one flowing into the other. The towers are set into a plaza of bustling retail space, contrasted with tranquil water features.

As they reach for the sky, the towers present breathtaking panoramic city and river views. The opening between the towers creates a visual gateway to the green promenade in the center of the new business district, while the manner in which the shorter tower stretches up towards its towering twin maintains the strong connection and relationship between the two buildings.

Many buildings is already completed, while others is under construction, approved or still a proposal. I don't have any final completion date, but make a guess of 2010-2012.

In fact, most of these buildings are just U/C or will be U/C next year, coz the government has spent 3 years to do the basic constructions of the new CBD.
Here is a pic of virtual nightview of the U/C CBD.

This is the finished grand theatre.

And these are the present downtown beside the West Lake.
