I think you've over-indulged. Go easy on the ice next time.

Ice?, I have my JD neat.

Besides, it wasn't just JD, some sort of shot were being pured down me by some girls with shot belts, who either blocked my nose so I couldn't breath then poured it down when I opend my mouth to breath, or twisted my nipples until I gave in. Either way I had to pay them afterwards, I'm sure thats some sort of robbery. I would of paid them for a nipple cripple without having the shots though.

The joys of a stag night in Whitley Bay.

Anyway, my heads cleared up now.

Does drinking more JD actually work?, or is it just a great excuse to have more? Or are you lot just a bunch of AA members.

Has any date been fixed for the meet-up? I think someone said they couldn't do before 23 Nov. That leaves Fri 27, Sat 28, Fri 4 Dec, Sat 5 Dec et seq.. I'd be happy with any of those except Sat 28 (North East Labour History Society Conference). Bodega, say 7.30ish... any preferences?

Chris, a pint or two of water before bed is a great help with hangover avoidance (rather than cure), but it's rather too easy to forget :-(

The best cure for a hangover I've used is a Berocca, preferably just before you go to bed - if you know you're going to forget, have it just before you go out. Works wonders.

Works wonders and definitely helps the next day, although not as much as if you have it before you go to bed.

Thanks.

Anyway, I said I couldn't do between next Saturday, and the 23rd-24th, as I'm on holiday (it also means I can't watch Dr Who, and miss the chance to pre-record it by a couple of hours) . I would probs be able to go to one during this week, but I'm sure thats a little short notice. But don't let my holiday stop you guys having a meet up.

my hangovers usually start before i go to bed, like last night for instance, so i stay up and browse the internet while drinking multiple cups of water and eating biscuits. seems to work as i felt fine when i woke up today. my gf on the other hand is still feeling the aftermath!

Hull still has over 3000 more posts than us!! I cant understand it!, we must have a severe shortage of computer users on Tyneside!

Yes, I agree, but by then I think the whole NE Sub-Forum will be knocking on other Sub-Forums doors.

I went into Marlbe SLb today, and got an ice cream. Ive got to say, it's not worth the price, it's nice, but not worth £3.29. Then again, once you have had a Deleval's Ice's nothing can compare.

The custom was ok, nice polite young girl behind the counter, I just get a little peeved when I go in for an ordinary ice cream, ask for one, and still get the what flavour do you want?, you know you can mix 2 up?, you want any sprinkles?. NO, I JUST WHAT A GOD DAMN VANILLA ICE CREAM, TO SEE WHAT IT TASTES LIKE COMPARED TO OTHER ICE CREAMS!
