of the Bucharest city centre. Gara de Nord, the city's main railway station is nearby as well as the adjacent Eroilor Metro Station and
a number of trolley bus services which serve the site.

The development of Casa Radio comprises approximately 360,000sqm, including:
*two towers of 145metre and 135metre of 53,000 sqm each
* A 120,000 sqm shopping mall and leisure centre
* residential area
* hotel, casino
* hypermarket
* convention and conference hall.

Project status: demolition works and initial construction commenced, approaching final concept design.

Casa Radio is an unfinished building in Bucharest, near Cotroceni, on the shore of the Dâmboviţa River. It has been erected during the
late 80's by the Communist regime over the terrain which used to be the Bucharest Hippodrome before WW-II. The balcony of the
unfinished building facing Stirbey Voda street was used by the Romanian dictator Ceausescu in 1989 August 23 to watch the festivities
marking Romania's National Day. It was the last communist style parade in Romania.

the building is partialy demolished, keeping only the facade.
