In Toronto (Canada), most common foreign plate is American from (in order) NY > NJ > other states, but I've also seen a few European plates I think (probably illegal).

Maybe not as much Barcelona, as the Costa Brava area north of it.

cars with Thailand license plate no. in Malaysia. Note another version of license plate using Roman alphabet on the bumpers, that was to comply with Malaysian traffic regulations required for all non-Roman license plates.

interesting; let's keep going on the examples from outside Europe!

BTW in Singapore which one is more expensive: the (highly taxed) imported Porsche or a garage parking lot for it?

Malaysian cars in Thailand

..this is a road convoy was organized by Isuzu Malaysia to test the fuel efficiency of their mid-size pickup Isuzu D-Max (Chevy Colorado in the US) and they have proven it by driving from Bangkok Thailand to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia without refueling along the journey of 1,500km. Off course they have driven with the constant speed of 80km/h (or shall we call it "speed" at 80?)

In Helsingborg, we have a very different ranking than Linköping.
I would say top 5 are:

1. DK (same position [cars/trucks/bikes])
2. BG (up from 6, surprisingly increase of BG this time of year[cars/trucks])
3. D (down from 2[cars/trucks/bikes])
4. PL (down from 3[cars/trucks/bikes])
5. LT/NL (both down from 4[cars/trucks])

i checked the whole thread and didn't see comments from slovakia, so:
1) bratislava (capital)
- trucks: a lot of RO, HU, CZ and PL, then BG, TR, D. sometimes SLO, CRO, SER,BIH.
rarely NL, BEL, UKR, GRE, FRA. i also saw trucks from SWE, DEN, NOR, ESP
and once ALB (!!!)
- cars: definitely cars from AT, CZ and HU. very often RO, BG, PL, D.
the most extreme car i saw here was from Indiana (USA)

2) sabinov (northeastern slovakia where i'm originaly from)
due to the proximity of polish border cars and trucks from PL and HU. the farthest
licence plate i saw there was from IRL (slovaks working in ireland...)

3) rest of slovakia - as SVK is in the center of europe, one can meet almost all the european licence plates during the years. the most extreme i remember were from kazachstan and texas (USA)

it's still a lengthy trip by car and ferry there. Years ago, the most common of the relatively few foreign plates were British, Italian, German and Libyan ones.

Most common in April

1.D
2.PL
3.LT

The germans have returned:

Plates from Waiblingen, Offenbach, Unna and Luneburg

Also saw a romanian registered Ford Focus diesel. First time I spot a romanian AR code. Only saw TM & B before. Usually I see about 5-6 vehicles from RO each year.
