Experts however say that as many as 100.000 new apartments and houses are needed over the next 20 years....
Those renderings really need drastic revisions, right now they'd just wreck a perfect site. First, most buildings are of even height ... boring. Second, they are flat-tops, and I like articulated roofs. Third, that massive, long building towards the top is a no-no. There may be passageways on the ground floor here and there, but such a monotonous fassade stretching out for so long with NO visual see-through is a bad idea imho.

Magretheholm looks exciting, but that road, that crosses the water?

And it's not the new Royal Theater.. Det er det nye Skuespilhus..

A quick construction pic from the new canal city rising fast in the south harhour.
The first block is at full height, and to others are U/C. When completed all 8 blocks will be on their own island,
but during the constructions fase it's all build on 'solid land', and the canals are then dug out after the buildings are completed...

When completed:

I actually rather like that render, I think it'll look nice... Just a wee bit (well, a pretty big bit) taller and it would be superb :P

Todays newspaper said that Bella Center is now negotiating with too different norwegian investors about the future 18 floor hotel next to the center.
So things might soon start happening out there...

Yes, that's correct, the original plan was with the Norwegian Rica hotel chain. Unfortunately, that project got canceled.
