I'm an everywhere guy, heh? Well, I was born and raised half of my teenage years. The lesser half in Baria, then back to Saigon for a few years before moving to the States. I currently live a stone-throw away from Pho 54. Having a great aroma of "nuoc leo" at my front door everytime. Planning or working on moving to Can Tho, my wife's hometown, where I have a house, but it's not in the near future.

Have you ever tried Pho Thanh Lich? It's on the corner of brookhurst and hazard. They have great filet mignon. I just tell the waitress/waiter to get me "Pho Filet Mignon" and they know what im talking about.

Phu Nhuan is big. I don't know how I'm gonna find your favorite fried banana, Bang!!

I might have a chance to find it next summer since I'm planning to visit the country from the North, my parents' homeland, to the South. I did it once before a few years back, but did not have a good camera, so I'll have to do it again!

Cool, I live right near the westminster mall. The huntington Beach side. lol

Where do you find some good b lc lac at? Have you eaten at lc đinh k before? They have some good b lc lac. What about brodard? Their famous for their delicious nm cuốn.

What about restaurant's you don't like? I don't like Phở Thnh on Bolsa in between Bushard and Brookhurst. Lc đinh k is right across the street from Phở Thnh. Top Baguette is good for some Bnh M. It's on the corner of Bolsa/Magnolia. My favorite place for Cơm Tm is Cơm Tm Thun Kiều. It's also on Bolsa/Magnolia in the same plaza as the Bank of America/ABC supermarket.

Oh and I'm ethnically full vietnamese, but I was born and raised in orange county.

Wow I had b lc lac at brodard about 3 months ago!!! I notice that at least it seems to me that every restaurant has different b lc lac, some use green peppers like Pho 54, some have no tomatoes, etc. As for restaurants that I do not like, the only one that I can think of is Pho Hoa, and I think that it is a national chain. I also eat b lc lac sometimes at I think Pho Saigon in Artesia. Haha this is weird I wake up at 2:45am and my PC is on and I see this!!!! I will have to try lc đinh k, I never ate there before!!

Well more about me is that I moved out here in 1984! Lived in various places in LA county and then moved to BP in 2001!

Welcome to the forum, Choyak!

I got the advice about Thanh Lich's pho filet mignon from KnightRiderBMW a little while back, but did not have a chance to try it. After your comment, I will have to try soon. My pho blood is boiling!!
