Certainly one of my favorite towers going up world wide at this moment, particularly becouse of it's structural system, or in the case of this tower, it's use of several, (i count 3, 4 if you include the steel concrete encasement) different system types, the internal outriggers are rather intense, tied into a right angel cross braced wall, and then an outer curtain wall cantilever frame, a much more intense structure than i expected, (not to mention the 9 below grade levels) and i live in Los Angeles, so i have more than a basic idea of how structures are built in level 3 earthquake zones,

I think it's wonderful that, not only is Mexico City getting some world class skyscrapers, but it is also providing us with some interesting structural case studies,

i'm a little troubled at how close this tower is to torre major next door, can not be more than 15 to 20 feet apart, pretty close, but it's only my opinion !!

I think some have said in the Mexican forum that the closest distance between them will be about 8 m or so (25 ft). Apparentyl, it is a sufficiently safe distance in case of an earthquake.
