Meeting in Kin during Christmas and New Years 2012?

Dear all,

I plan to be in Kin for christmas and new year of this year. I thought it may be nice for some us if we are in Kinshasa at the same to try to meet over a drink or coffee to talk, mingle and connect. I will be in Kin for about 3 weeks and I am willing to meet any time during that period and anywhere. WHo knows, maybe we can host a Skyscrapercity party or gathering in Kin. I would love to have the opportunity to meet brothers such as Pius, Butembo and everyone else that I have so much respect/esteem for.

What do you think about the idea?

Cheers....

That's is a great idea, but be careful you might just discover that people are not what you thought they will be. I was thinking of having the same thing when I am in lubumbshi, but the are too many homophobes in this forum people like MBA congo , Butumbo , ILOVERDC12 and the likes. I would love to meet up with Karavia. anyway good luck. if it happens that you meet up with others please tell us about it

Dear bandundu....You are right about one thing...People are not always who they say they are. But that is fine with me. Let us avoid calling each other names (homophobes). It is ok for us to disagree but it is not ok for us to call each other names. I do not agree most of the times with the people that you mentioned, but I respect their opinion. Not agreeing with them should not preclude us from meeting as brothers with the same goal and love for our country. When we meet, we can agree on subjets to keep off the table and simply talk about those subject that we want to talk about and where there is no need to fight over. I believe that there is more that unites us than what divides us. I encourage you to maintain your idea of having a similar meeting in Lubumbashi and if I can, I would love to join there. Cheers...

Too bad! I will be there during the summit (if no change). But I encourage each other to see further, the world is small....
