Its bloody awful this. The new St Peters buildings are magnificent and this cheap and lazy effort is going to stand by their side.

I don't really like it on it's own, but within the context of the surrounding buildings I don't have any major complaints. It certainly doesn't need a complete redesign, I think.

Exactly that. It's designed to compliment the new developments rather than stand on its own.

Not a fan of this one, I know its only a filler but a filler shouldn't be taller than the pinnacle building it is filling around. I know this is will be an unpopular comment on this forum but this should be shorter (i know shorter/smaller are banned words on this forum!)

looking from St Peters the height wont matter as you wont be able to see its taller but when approaching st Peters you will see it and it could be a bit of a blot on an excellent St Peters development

I don't mind the height or the design of this. Could be better maybe, but the renders aren't the best quality so it could end up looking better. Wasn't that the case for 2 SPS?

What excites me is the life that this development, together with the Odeon redevelopment, will breath into yet another block of dead back streets. There's some beautiful architecture along George Street, adjoining Princess Street, with great potential. The buildings are (as far as I am aware) largely under-utilised. Also, there seems to be a vacant site at 55 George Street - does anyone know what's happening there?

That's the Guardian. It's a Cold War relic of nuclear-tough telephone infrastructure. It's not available for development.

It's now used by BT as a route for telephone cables. Some may remember the fire of 2004 which caused chaos by knocking out thousands of phone lines all over the country.
