I have no idea, I just thought it was interesting. Also the etymology of the word ekidinia. I wonder what relation it has to the fruit.

Who's watching Arab Idol? I think it's the best show of its kind right now, the voices this season are great!. X factor is a mess.
There are two lebanese guys participating in arab idol, ziad khoury and wael, they're amazing! They sang amazingly tonight, I really hope to see a Lebanese participant winning. Most importantly, they only sing in arabic, and they sing all kinds of song, including Tarab and Mawwals. I think it's important to stay authentic and value our traditions. The traditional arabic song is unique, and I'm very happy it's being spread through arab idol. I hate it when they sing in english in such shows. This is one of the reasons why I didn't watch the voice, half of the time they were singing in english.
