Bangalore Palace
Bangalore Palace was built in 1862 and bought by Maharajah of Mysore, Chamraja Wodeyar. It was built by Rev. Garrett, who was the first Principal of the Central High School in Bangalore and has a stirking resemblance to the Windsor Palace of England.
The sprawling grounds surrounding the palace is today being used to host public events. Some of the bands who have perfromed here include Aerosmith, Metallica and Iron Maiden! image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() (Royal Carriage) image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() (Jockey weighing machine!) image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() (Elephant Feet Seats) image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() (The Grand Hall)
