Flooring tile. Look at the opposite setback. It's white.

I dont think the interiors are fully decked out on 1 and 4, let alone 3.

4 should be as Spotify leased the remaining space in the building.

I think we get too hung up on if these towers are "awesome" enough to represent what was there. It is more than if the new towers are tall enough or we should have expected more in their design. It is the whole site, everything including the memorial spaces with the water features, names ,lighting, the underground museum the plaza. This whole space was thoughtfully conceived and executed. It is a place that for the human experience is not just a financial center.

Overall, I agree the new WTC really turned out well. Still, to this day I am struggling to grasp the fact that the Oculus and 1 WTC alone cost 7 billion dollars, the whole site probably cost more than 10 billion so far. Why are they so expensive, considering all of the old WTC cost "just" 2.4 billion dollars (adjusted for inflation). I know part of it is due to the stronger concrete and materials used, but surely that can't justify it all? And, back on topic, really glad to see this tower nearing completion, it looks stunning!

It doesnt seem all the tenants have moved in, considering a good part of the upper portion is still lit by construction lighting at night. I'd rather see darkness than those.

To be fair, the old WTC was a bunch of grey boxes that were considered boring and ugly when they were built, let alone decades later. It's not like a quadrupling of price has brought only a minor increase in quality. It's a massive upgrade.

Of course, in a perfect world, we'd all still be complaining about how the twin towers are a blight on the NYC skyline because 9/11 would never have happened. But I think given the circumstances, the 10 billion for this project was worth every cent.

From the distance maybe, but one you was in front of them you could appreciate the elegance of the facade and its fine lines. That happens also with many skyscrapers built in the 60s and 70s.

I don’t mean to continue this debate, but speaking of twins, I always thought that a twin of 1 WTC for 2 WTC would look fantastic, but that’s just my opinion. I just hope they go back to Foster’s Design for 2 WTC.

Anyways, 3 WTC is looking fantastic. Hopefully we’re getting close to opening.

As per today, McKinsey is leasing about 200K square feet of space!

Slowly and steadily Silverstein is filling up his towers.

They need to put up the 4 antennas. It will give the tower some balls.
