Office Development Awards 2009 shortlist announced

Property’s heavyweights including British Land, Land Securities and Ballymore will be vying for victory after making the shortlist for the Office Development Awards 2009.


Schemes and deals from across the UK have been shortlisted for the awards, held in London on 20 October, including from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle and Belfast.

The event will be held at the Royal Lancaster hotel as a part of the Offices 09 conference and exhibition.

In total ten categories will reward excellence, innovation and professionalism in one of the toughest years for UK commercial property in decades.

The shortlisted parties are:

Deal of the Year outside Central London

There will also be a new ‘outstanding achievement’ award to recognise an individual who has made a substantial contribution to the UK offices market whether through property investment or development, success, innovation or as a figurehead for change and progress.

This category will be judged by a panel of industry experts.
