Isabela implements big time power rate rollback this month

ILAGAN CITY, isabela, May 22 (PIA) -- The Isabela Electric Cooperative II (ISELCO II) will implement a big time roll back on electricity rates to member consumers this month.

The roll back is due to the decrease in generation charges paid to power producers.

Liborio Medrano, ISELCO II Billing Head based in this city, said that the electric cooperative has received P1.8 million discount from SN Aboitiz Power Magat for its on-time payment to the said power producer.

As a result of the rollback, member consumers will be given P1.24 per kilowatt hour discount for residential rates and low voltage commercial users, and P1.87 per kilowatt hour discount for high voltage commercial users.

Medrano said that the electricity roll back continues if the electricity cooperative will continue paying on time.

Medrano urges member consumers to pay their obligations to ISELCO II on time to continue receiving lower electricity rates. (PIA – Isabela)#
