Have had both from lanch and more and more I prefere the XBOX One..

Of course it comes down to the games most importantly, but the OS on XBOX is IMO much nicer to use, the multiplayer system works IMO better and the shop is endlessly better.

Controllers are equally good, but the build in battery in the PS4 controller doesn't last long forcing you to constantly charge it ( have had to buy both a second controller and a 5m charge cable to get around this issue ) where on the XBOX ONE you just swap the batteries and are ready for another month or so..

The PS4 does have more graphical power, but then again if that is a person's main concern they are better off with a PC..

About two weeks left until Christmas and I am still going back and forth about which gaming console(Xbox One or PS4) I should get for my son.

Stop asking you such existential question... the only matter is buying the system on which the games he'll play are.

I bought and Xbox one on cyber Monday BC it was cheaper. Most of the games genres I like aren't exclusives so it made sense to go with the cheaper one. Can't say I'm disappointed.

Does 4k but nothing else is really any different other than the cool aesthetics.

Does look like a beautiful console tho and the size decrease is essential.

I'm still working with a PS3, so for me, this would be a huge upgrade in both gaming and streaming content!

The small plastic holes would collect dust over time, and be difficult to clean.

I think Frekie did, but if you could I'd wait to see the Xbox Scorpio, now is the worst time to buy a console.

New XBOX One Console Debuts

The world's most powerful console will be released here in the U.S. on November 17, 2017 for $499. The specs on this new machine are out of this world with unprecedented gaming performance never seen before!!

Never seen before.... Never seen before... these folks need to know there is a gaming world outside consoles.

Never seen on consoles is more correct.

It's the world's most powerful console until the next one comes out. It's not really a selling point to the masses. PS4 and Xbox One S will be $200 on Black Friday (I think they were $250 last BF). So it'll take a lot to convince a person why they need to spend more than double to get a slightly clearer image on the screen.

Right now they kind of both stink anyway. So I'll stay on my previous statement, the game that interest you and the online service your friends use matter more than some Tflops more or less which mean little anyway.

No comment? What a weird thing to sign up for a site to say.
