Don't I'll cry! It looks too awesome & I want it there now! F*** 2008 & the Lehman Bros! Couldn't this crisis waited another few years and the artificial ceiling just lasted a little more (selfishly).... Manchester would be rocking right now! This crash couldn't have come at a worse time, as so much more would be built!

Other than improving educational achievement? Reducing crime? Improving employment opportunities for those who live area with generations of unemployment? Even schemes like Metrolink would have a massive impact in the cities prospects compared to this pin prick. Get real.

5% will be wasters
95% of us will have a skip in our step. Massive difference.

You'd be amazed how much a better educated population improves the quality of an area.

Undoubtedly. But as we're on skyscrapercity I was merely talking about construction protects. Not socio-economic prospects. Save that for the political blogs pal.

Loving how LNGCats tries to put himself across as 'the perfect forumer', as if everyone else is stupid/dumb/naive etc with no grasp on what he calls 'reality'.
He's been banned from the forums numerous times |

Haha! Maybe the potential existence of HS2 platforms will eventually spur the developers into action! Although, I doubt any developer would build speculatively anywhere north of...Reading at the moment.
