Smartphone & Tablet use in Amd for NRIs

Hey guys, i had posted this in the misc thread in the chaibar but no one answered and they suggested to post here. this is not a spam or troll thread. i just need some help

my cousin is coming to Ahmedabad from USA for a few months. she will be by herself for some internal soul searching...lol

anyways, she is wondering...
1- if an Unlocked AT&T iphone will work there
2-what company to go with for cell & data plans
3- can you tether iphones? she has a nexus 7 and ipad and would rather tether and bring her nexus 7 instead of ipad
4- will ipad work there
5- what company to use for data plan for ipad

also what other sites/forums should i visit for more info? thanks

For cell and data plans Vodafone is the best and don't know about whether unlocked AT&T iphone will work here or not.

1) if phone is unlocked than definitely it will work.

2) Vodafone has good coverage in Gujarat( i paid 375 for 1GB data 7 months bacK)

3) I think yes she can tether
