It was asked why now Spartaк such a low average attendance, as opposed to 30-80 years. Because a police control now. The road from the stadium to the metro.

Exit from the stadium after the match was over 1 hour 20 min. In the video, the usual fans (not ultra) of the central sectors were waiting more than 1 hour until the police released them.:bash:

So practically there are two stadiiums being built in a touching distance?
I think in ters of easthetics the second one destroys the whole concept of the first one. Absolutely horrible. If these were built seperately, I would probably say nothing, but this is scary.
In Fedun (president of Spartak), no logic. We told him why build such a small stadium for the biggest club in the 42 000 seats and has an indoor stadium of 12,000 seats. It is better to build a normal stadium to 60,000. Want to hold exhibitions and concerts in the winter? Please, do closing the roof like a Zenit, no problem.
And now the question. The new stadium the club will sell at least 30,000 season tickets. As season ticket holders will fit, for example, to match Spartak - Kuban in December on the 12-cap arena? And you can even imagine at Derby stadine 12 000? This nonsens. It would be better Fedun built instead of an indoor arena for Hockey Club Spartak, the legendary club plays in a 5-cap barn.

The thing with season tickets sounds like quite an argument. So was there any response from the club? I mean if it makes no sense (and it seems to) than do they have any reasonable explanation/response to criticism?
There was no explanation. But I guess why. First of all, I have already said that he did not consider the opinions of ordinary fans in the planning of the stadium. Originally wanted to do to build on the 35,000, but under pressure from fans, increased capacity to 42,000. The stadium provides a lot of VIP boxes and Sky boxes (8,000 seats), it is expected that they will provide about 90% of the revenue the stadium.
It is likely that these 8,000 people will have input in both arenas. And the rest do not even know.

The roof trusses on the cube are over 33m apparently? That should be high enough for rugby, I wonder if Spartak-GM would be able to play there. A similar stadium was recently built in Dunedin, New Zealand for rugby use. That has natural grasss, I assume this will be synthetic?

From all the information we've had so far - yes, it seems so.

Btw - anyone know the name of the arena?
There's a % of synthetic grass mixed in with natural grass at Otago Stadium, Dunedin. It's mainly natural grass though and added synthetic strands for durability, possibly more of a consideration for a rugby pitch.
