Sun Media, Coke, and George Brown? What a weird combo.

Let's hope the G.B students don't have to interact with the nut jobs of Sun Media.

Anyway back to the building. I wonder why they show it from it's backside. Is the front really ugly or something? I really hope that the King St side has some nice design feature to make up for this so far lack luster office building.

It is certainly not going to win any beauty contests..... even the night rendering (which are always exaggeratively forgiving) looks blah.
It is more Kingston than King Street.

So Great Gulf Homes is having a public meeting tonight to show the design for the three buildings they plan on building on the entire site. A 16 storey office building, a 19 storey office building and a 24 storey residential tower. They had originally designed a 47 storey mixed use tower but they must have realized there had zero chance of that passing in Corktown (Thank God).
Expect to see better renders soon. Right now we have a bunch of renders that don't seem to match up. image hosted on flickr ![]() ![]() ![]()
