Prime minister’s son has his Twitter account locked

Quote:
In the United States, we hear stories — almost on a daily basis — about Michelle Obama's latest do, or about one of Obama's pets. And we know that the President has two daughters named Malia and Sasha.
In Canada, the media has never really been infatuated with our 'first family' —that is until this week.
On Monday, there were stories galore about Stephen Harper's wife Laureen and her new Twitter account. Journalists wrote about what she tweeted, who she was following and why she was on Twitter.

On Wednesday, there was another story about another Harper on Twitter.
Laura Stone of iPolitics located the Twitter handle of Stephen Harper's son, Ben.
"The formerly public profile for @Ben_S_Harper, Harper’s 16-year-old son, shows him posing in a school hallway with a girl, wearing what looks like onesie pajamas decorated with hot dogs. The only description in his profile is “Ottawa.”
After the Prime Minister’s Office was contacted for comment, the profile was locked. An official speaking on background said the office did not know about it."
In her article, Stone goes on to describe some of the Tweets from the 16 year old.
I don't begrudge the journalists for going after these stories. Based on the fact that they get a lot of attention, they're definitely of interest to a lot of people — just like the personal lives of the Obama's are of interest to Americans and the antics of the Royals are of interest to the Brits.

Comment: Guess when people were talking about B.S. Harper they were talking about his son?

Harper is so incredibly uptight. Its not like the kid dashed off to Las Vegas and flashed his bits and pieces around a room filled with skanky ho's.

On the other hand thankfully the kid seems to have dodged most of Harper's genes.

Are you sure? I was thinking the hand spasm might indicate a genetic problem.

He looks like he's 10 with those pyjamas and how scrawny he looks.
