Tropez Residences to make an impact
By BEN TAN
JOHOR BARU
[email protected]

JOHOR-BASED developer, Tropicana Danga Bay Sdn Bhd, is upbeat about its latest high-rise residential project, Tropez Residences, making an impact on potential property owners in Johor Baru and Singapore.

Potential property buyers looking at a scale model of the Tropez Residences condominium

B.P. You said Tropez Residences can help fill the market niche for luxury condominiums in Iskandar Malaysia.

1 / 3Its general manager, B.P. You, said sales enquiries on the 428-unit Tower A of Tropez Residences, which are freehold, have been positive with both locals as well as Singaporeans.

"I must say the sales launch was timely as there is an upward demand for such property by Singaporeans who consider them to be value-for-money in view of the rising costs of properties in the island republic," he said when met at the sales launch in Danga Bay here recently.

You said investors of the units, priced between RM400,000 and RM1.2 million, during the two-day launch stood to benefit from discounts and rebates.

"However, there are only limited units left as we have nearly approached our sales target," he said.

Tropez Residences comprises 1,149 units of luxury three- or four-bedroom duplexes and single-bedroom studio apartment.

The 38-storey condominium is located within Tropicana Danga Bay, a RM3.8 billion integrated bayfront project spanning 15 hectares here.

The project is a joint venture between Dijaya Corporation Bhd and Iskandar Waterfront Sdn Bhd.

You was confident that Tropez Residences can help fill the market niche for luxury condominiums in the Iskandar Malaysia region.

Tropicana Danga Bay will launch other available units in stages once they are open for sale, with Tower B's launch scheduled for March.

You said the company was confident that Tropez Residences will do well as its location on the bay has excellent infrastructure, making it an ideal residential property as well as an investment.

"We have also committed to building a dedicated sales office and showrooms in Danga Bay costing more than RM9 million, to be completed by February.

"This shows that we are here for the long haul and are serious about developing quality properties in Iskandar Malaysia," he said.

For enquiries on available units and future launches, call 07-234 1585 or go to www.tropicanadangabay.com.my

Nope, not in Tropez. Just keen to confirm that it is built on reclaimed land, but many do not believe.
