At least it helps to reduce the number of cars traveling between these areas and causing more congestion!
Good idea too, I kept thinking that Ikea is directly opposite LDP, I was wrong, lol. Like Sentosa Express Monorail from Vivo City to RWS.
For us, I think a people mover from Curve to Empire City will be a pipe dream, very difficult for it to happen here!

Wow, that's a very bold and amazing design... Like what choon said, it looks just like a version of the CCTV Tower in Beijing, with that floating section joining two slanted blocks (albeit with an extra "hole" on the right side, haha)!

CCTV Beijing is like having 2 angles.

Our Empire 2 is like having 3 angles.

In the end they always end up with a diluted cost saving design that suck! Lets hope this baby become a reality!

how i think they design the tower phase 2..

1. Simply copy the design of CCTV tower in beijing, including the facades:

(my simplified drawing) :

2. Add an inclined structure (shown in green):

3. Rise the podium so that it will look like a giant sky bridge (yellow):

4. and then BAM! heres a spectacular design!!

Hahaha, for once, another country is copying something out of China, the world's leading copycat artists!

Still, that Empire City tower block has an amazing design and it will not be constructed the "usual" way, that's for sure... And despite it being a knock-off of the CCTV in Beijing, let's hope that Mammoth Empire does not change the design later (I remember one of you saying that they are known to fix their designs permanently, once the artist's impression has come out)...

Well, if our dreams do come true, maybe they can have those simple circular one-steel-line type of monorail linking these developments to the Curve's MRT station... I.e. similar to the one that used to run in Bandar Sunway as well as some in major theme parks like Sea World in Gold Coast or the Disney World monorail...

And here's my wish list of stations: Curve (interchange with MRT) - Damansara Perdana Town - Metropolitan SQ - Empire Damansara - Empire City - UAC Building (behind IPC / Ikea) - back to Curve MRT... It should be a good way to encourage people to park-and-ride, without having to use their cars to get from, say, Perdana to Empire City, and choking up the roads with more traffic!

Good try & Efforts...UjaiDidida...

I think 3 beams model is easier to support the whole structure than the 2 beams one in CCTV Beijing.

I found out tat this guy is working with a design firm in singapore thou....

Empire City's one is taller and sexier. CCTV Beijing is just too stout (looks short).

The 3rd incline that Empire City has makes it a total bold, new icon. The right head is also abit bend with all the 3 structures skinnier and taller.

At the bottom podium, there is a hole for cars to go through it.
