The building is 362 feet to roof and 400 feet to spire.

That's a decent height. Should offset the stairway skyline that tampa has when viewed from north to south.

Long-awaited, 33-story residential tower by Straz Center appears to be moving forward
Jul 11, 2017, 4:31pm EDT

Ashley Gurbal Kritzer
Senior Reporter
Tampa Bay Business Journal

Miami-based American Land Ventures has submitted its design plans for a residential tower near the David J. Straz Jr. Center for Performing Arts to the city of Tampa. That approval will ensure the tower — named AER in the Arts District — complies with city guidelines on items like the proposed elevations, green space and setbacks.

I like the design, not cookie-cutter concrete box like. Has some style... should look nice, as long as it doesn't stray too far from this.

Well this is what they've filed so it won't change unless they want to start the process over.

Everything up until this point had been conceptual renderings.

Damn I thought it was approved already. And they were just waiting for the roads to be reconfigured

I believe it was approved at one point but they modified the project and had to get approval again.

So way back in a St Pete Times article when this first came to light, the developer had a date of Q3 2014 to have the tower opened....I love the design of this and am hoping it goes somewhere but worry it's going to miss this development cycle. (And sorry to all those who saw this bumped up and thought there was actual news-I was just curious as to what the original timeframe was for this project)
