I also think that almost all of them are beautiful, but if I have to choose only one, then definitеly it will be The Chrysler Building.

Haha you can't choose less than 5 ESB, Chrysler, GE, Woolworth, Lexington and 500 Fifth ave. for me.
Still, Chrysler wins.
If Woolworth wins then I'm ok with that as well.

I honestly think the ESB is underrated on this site. I dont know if people are trying to be hipsters or what?

The underrated gems I believe are
20 Exchange place- I love it's proportions and those giant menacing art deco statues ringing the base.
Nelson Tower- A very prominent tower for its area that seems much bigger and taller than it really is.

Another view of the buildings this time on Valentines Day (feb 14) 1931, with the Times Square Building and others in the background.

New York Central Building 1933

The City Bank Farmers Trust Building, with the Bank Of Manhattan Trust Building in the background in 1939

The Chandler Building ( another Neo-gothic jem ) and the New Amsterdam Theatre in 1914

New York City skyline sometime after 1932, my guess is the 1930's-1940's.
