This is definitely big enough so I gave it its own thread.

That BizJournal article implies it's on the portal but I can't find it right now (I don't really have time to look).

Quote:
BTI's preliminary master plan filed with the city shows a village-like setup, with mixed-use buildings facing both the waterfront and tree-lined streets. One of the residential buildings will be a 20-story tower with 380 units, adjacent to a nine-story building with 90 units.

Several buildings combine retail and office space; one residential building will include 12,025 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

It's very preliminary though. I wouldn't get too worked up about it.

I'm not liking how this is going to swamp WestShore and Gandy.

Yet another reason to build that Gandy Blvd. flyover like, yesterday.

1. Transportation Planning finds this a substantial change to the approved PD. Due to the recent denial of CSX for the FDOT NOI, Paul and Price Avenues will have to be brought up to City of Tampa standards with 20 feet minimum pavement widths for two-way traffic. Additionally, a cul-de-sac or turnaround is needed at the end of Bridge Street which meets the City of Tampa standards to accommodate emergency vehicles.

There's a huge (55MB) full color site plan on the portal posted a few days ago. It shows how it'll integrate into the surrounding neighborhood though.

Also it gives us numbers for building K which the other site plans didn't have: 4 stories/400 units.

There's a new infrastructure improvement portal entry for this.

There's renderings of "Building K" (see above site plans) that were just put up on the portal. I can get them up later.

This is chugging right along. About 20 documents have been uploaded within the past couple weeks.

One of them is a 40 point checklist of what they need done before they can start infrastructure work. There's only 2 things left:

- Complete signage plan
- Design adequate sight distances/street jogs

Nice. Even just getting a part of this development done will be a huge boon

New incremental review up for the townhome portion of the project (H and I in the black and white map above)

Not sure about the "Anglo Caribbean" name.

A representative from Related Group announced at the Bergstrom Council's multi-family breakfast that they are 60-90 days out from closing on a parcel at New Port and plan to construct 390 units. The breakfast took place on 10/26 so that puts us in late January.
I think it would be great to have Related involved in this project, their product has been impressive thus far and they are showing quite a bit of confidence in Tampa.

Nothing concrete, but I thought it was worth sharing.

They're probably taking parcel A, the tall part.
