How did this awesome post go south... This is a big improvement than what was proposed before. I'm happy to see the related group finally add a project on this side of the Bay. Now if we can just get an skyhouse somewhere in the edge district. Lol one can wish!

The glass curtain walls will be covered with blinds/shades. And for most people walking along, they will see the cheap stucco sides of the building as much as the glass ends caps fronting the river. It's not going to catch anyone's eye as attractive architecture, I promise you that.

I personally think the approved design is compromised enough that they may have trouble keeping the place filled at their asking rents. Maybe not at first because people won't know any better, but when renewals come up.

Unless there is tint or glazing on the windows then it might not be so bad.
