2nd year HS 1993 not that old but 2 decades is 2 decades and it feels like eons ago. . I am still in my early 30's, started early and got accelerated 3 times.

How consistent was it? Meron bang mga essay na pinagawa sa inyo in Baybayin, or something like that? Kasi sa kapanahunan ko, sandali lang tinuro, parang 2-3 sessions ata yun. Merong isang assignment na gumawa kami ng essay in Baybayin, after that thats it.

Almost 1 quarter din, no essays just pure regurgitation, you know how it is with our education system. You spitout what they teach you and not synthesize which is why when I did my postgrad program in the US I was literally failing my assignments.

National Museum of Anthropology:
Baybayin Gallery

After 6 years, I visited again the National Museum.
Looks cleaner (due to fresh coat of paint).
And yes, lots of visitors
(i.e. Merong pila sa registration lobby.)

======

(1) Art Gallery building
= New acquisitions, including the murals originally displayed in the lobbies of PGH and IRRI.
Must see = Rizal gallery.

Photo Source: Sculpture made by Jose Rizal himself.

(2) Anthropology building
= artifacts are displayed individually in generous space.
This gives them due respect and importance.
(i.e. hindi tulad dati
na parang tambakan sa bahay ni lolo).
Must see = Baybayin (old alphabet) gallery.

Photo Source: Baybayin Gallery in the National Museum of Anthropology.
Features pre-hispanic artifacts with Baybayin writings.

=======

Overall, big big improvement
in the way the artifacts are displayed
in the 2 museum buildings.
But more importantly, daming tao!

Suggestion:
In the lobby, put a miniature model
of the museum complex,
so that visitors will know
that there are 3 buildings.

========
PS: I'll write another review this coming June,
once the Museum of Natural History opens.

I think the script should be revived! It would add a lot of cultural identity of the Philippines.
