BALI

So I just got back from a family vacation to Bali:

First stop was Ubud for 4 days:

View from the Villa

Surrounding rice fields

Lots of random construction going on

In the main center of Ubud

The Monkey Forrest is right in the middle of the region

Government Palace in KlungKung

Every roundabout in Bali had really ornate statues, this is one of the small ones

The countryside of Bali

Our driver for the day

We drove up this way for the day to see the volcano, unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favor

Shot of the back of our villa on the last day we were there.

The long 15 minute path up to the rice fields

The main street

Plenty of construction going on as well

the market

Some of the back streets that don't have much to do with tourism clearly don't get the same investment as the ones that do

Nice pics. I am headed there myself in June to Uluwatu/Pecatu. Staying at the Le Grande Hotel (uhotelsresort.com).

Anyone stayed there know what its like?
