Lol there is a "luxury brand" called Acne? That is hilarious. Must be very hard to stay in business with a name like that

It may seem inconceivable but ACNE is hugely popular. Just also very pricey

Every time someone wants to search for one of their products on the internet they will get pictures of severe pimples. Amazing

They have had Acne in Sydney and Melbourne for years, I first saw one of their boutiques in 2010 so....yes they are one of the world's most popular jeans brands.

No major news, but under-awning signage has gone up for Peter Sheppard, with store fitout well underway. I'd guesstimate that the store could potentially be open within a fortnight.

What will go in Oxford and Peter Sheppard's spaces in Wintergarden, will be interesting.

Possibly nothing, given the current occupancy status of that back end of the Wintergarden...

Edward Street has another retail space available, and a pretty good one at that, with troubled retailer Oroton shutting up shops at MacArthur Central and Pitt Street Mall over the weekend.

Oroton issued an ultimatum to landlords that they needed to cut their rents by 40% for the stores to remain viable, with the MacArthur and Pitt Street landlords flat out refusing (and rightly so IMO, given the locations).

Peter Sheppard has opened on Edward Street, and the store looks pretty good.

Back down the street, however, it looks like Mountain Designs is about to close up shop (or has already), with very little left in store. The Edward Street store was one of the approximately half of the chain's stores which are closing. With it going/gone and pop-up clothing store "Dəad" now, well, dead, it leave Issada as the last Edward Street-facing store in the Embassy and its annex.

I can't tell - is Peter Sheppard two stories of retail space, or is it more of a 'retail on the ground floor' and stockroom on the top floor?

Because otherwise why does the top floor look so empty?

It's been reported in the media and in the Brisbane General Retail.Thread that Mountain Designs is in trouble and closing stores all over the shop Toowong, Toowoomba and Edward Street.

Peter Shepherd does look good
