H0!!!@ Look at what I found on the Condo Life magazine website!

The Avenue @ St.Clair/Avenue Road (19s) . Looks like the high-rise development that was once shot down is alive and well.

Broadview Lofts:

Churchill Park Condos:

EAST (275 King East)

Glas Condos

I'm still dying to see how the Boutique Condos will look like !!!!!

BTW: The Goodwill Project at Jarvis/Adelaide will be called "Vu" and will be by Aspen Ridge Homes.

Wow, that's amazing and the towers compliment Trump really well. Too bad they won't have much impact on the skyline...if at all.
Yep, practically blends in with it. At first, I thought Trump got an extension!

The problem is that Toronto's skyline is most recognizable on the Lake...even if it can be viewed from another angle. Trump will be just hiding..

Pretty nice job there, I like the touch of using Quantom II as RoCP3 ;) but One City Hall II will just be a giant glass box, not a mini- Jin Mao Tower. ;)

And here's the render for EQ2 @ STC, the tower is very average, I like the curved roof line but the bulky base is just horrid.

SIGH... what a dissappointing design. seeing these makes me feel like mississauga lucked out with amacon... i thought monarch was a great builder? seems like they are just cheapening out on the designs because they know in scarborough centre any design will sell out pretty much.

So i guess they are going with the 2 shorter towers (36, 34?) first and then the tallest one last, supposidely the next "tallest in scarborough"? (39)

I've been eyeing that parcel of land on Consilium (sp?) drive just east of the McCowan overpass and the parking lot to the north of it... that area seems like a GREAT place to build since its closer to STC than the Ellipse Towers and it would help bridge both ends of the SC skyline. (ie) the Residences of the Consilium/Lee Centre with the EQ developments. Commercial at the bottom of the towers could help make that street more pedestrian friendly, it is practically lined up with towers already. Also... i have to admit that the Lee Centre/Consilium towers have pretty good bases for towers in the suburbs, and pretty good designs/quality.

Scarborough Centre at night is pretty well lit up... hopefully downtown can be more accented by lighting soon.

I saw the rendering for "Boutique Condos" today, I saw it on a huge sign set up outside of the sales centre. There's also a nice model inside the sales centre but I didn't go in.

The building will have a red brick and glass balconies base with the top part glass and pre-cast. I think it reminds me of MoZo but a bit wider. I wish I had a digital camera with me to take a pic of the sign. If anyone wants to see it, the sales centre is on Simcoe, just south of Queen (And the hideous University Plaza), west of the site of the proposed Shangri-La Hotel, and north of the Ritz-site. That area will be really dense in a few years.

It works. I wish these types of buildings would start to line the suburban avenues.

Where exactly is boutique condos located again?
They could make all the difference in post-war neighbourhoods. Though it's nothing special, even ugly, the building across from Downsview subway station has the right idea, it even looks similar in shape to the building posted above.

There are a few proposals like this one form Kingston Rd.

North Beach by Core Architects

It has a nice massing and the right amount of density. Unique in a way too. I can't wait for more of these types of buildings to line the streets.

It located midblock which is why it has a blank wall on both sides.
