Apart from the actual building that has kicked off this entire development, of course. Depends how you see it really, is this brick reducing the amount of light into the apartment making them dark inside, or doing it in a way to reduce solar gain?

Well Eric Pickles has decided NOT to call in One Nine Elms for a public enquiry and Wandsworth Council granted permission a few days ago: http://www.out-law.com/en/articles/2...one-nine-elms/

Amazing the level of development that has been kick-started by the Americans moving their embassy.

Without them, this area would probably remain a dump for another decade.

I thank you. It's just an act. I may have been a tad tipsy when I wrote that tree thing.

looks incredible, that Urban Renaissance building in the foreground of the second photo will luckily disappear with its god awful blue pearlescent roofs and cladding.

It's scary how just this area of London alone is seeing more redevelopment then the whole of Birmingham.

It looks fantastic but it does slope quite low rise very quickly. Should've been planned to have a steady decline on the way down to Battersea.

Looks good but I think there should be a park surrounding the power station. Looks too crowded now, you can't even properly see it.

Parks don't pay for renovations.

That massive green space you can see on Google earth just to the west is Battersea Park, there will also be a riverside park in front of BPS.

Do you honestly think someone would pay £400m quid for the site and attempt to recoup the cost and pay for the £100m+ renovation of the power station by putting some grass around the power station?

Seriously just sometimes it would be good if some posters looked at something realistically for once rather than the usual simplistic I wish this happened whilst totally ignoring the factors surrounding a project and why certain things are being done.
