Thanks, chest.

This one looks like it's well underway. Can't wait, this will bring some much needed stability and balance to the skyline especially as 52 Lime St progresses. Should be an interesting race between them, don't think two major towers have been under construction at the same time in the City.

Amazing news! What is the story with the basement here? Was it all done before the construction came to a halt? Roughly, when we do think we will see the core rising?

Great photos chest! Looks like full steam ahead with this one which is great. St Ethelburga looks miniature in the background.

..anyone know if this is just the construction of the low rise element?

They were thinking of splitting this project into two phases, the tower being phase 2.

Did that come to anything or is this full construction?

An article in AJ with the profile of the architect:

http://www.architectsjournal.co.uk/e...675327.article

Notice the first pic shows Royal Bank of Canada logo in the foyer. I know RBC have an active City requirement of up to 300K sq ft, perhaps this is the pre-let Brookfield have been waiting for.

Otherwise I fear we will see a pause after the piling and basements are complete.

Yes, unless we hear news that there has been a pre-let, I believe we will only see construction up to ground level.
