Ithentha Jurrasic age il ulla rail line aano?

It is hardly 110 years since railway came to Kerala. If a line was laid in Iritty, even on a trial basis, even for a short distance of one km, it should be in the records of railways.

Is it a fossil excavation?

Me too felt the same when I read the newspaper...!!
No need to report it as as a surprise because the debris are there in the surface itself in the road side. The editor may be living in 25th century. So he reported that same was there in 20th century.
The rail line was washed off in a flood in 1928.

Tvpm Rajadhani is for Kerala. If kanyakumari need a direct connection to delhi then try to extend chennai rajdhani to kanyakumari, then it will also help south TN peaples too.

This is not accepted. Better extend the Matsyagandha express to CAPE. Also their is a proposal by KOSU to extend it. Also the ERS - Pune Express (Both Superfast and Weekly) should be extended to Kollam/KCVL.

Matsyagandha is only upto mumbai right? They need delhi connection through konkan..
Maveli express upto kanyakumari is their decade old dream...!!!

Mangala Lakshadweep express name itself suggests it has connection with Lakshadweep. This train was supposed to be run upto CHTS which has connectivity for Lakshadweep. But later shifted to ERS as its primary maintenance is done in Marshalling yard.


Anyway, now a days this train is not maintaining its time. Average 4-5 hours late along with that after maintenance train has to be ready for next journey in the morning.

And we also need a new CHTS-Delhi Lakshadweep Rajdhani Express. Since the Kerala rajdhani goes via Konkan, the Lakshadweep Rajdhani can take the old route via Katpadi-nagpur.

Duranto and Rajadhani ply through the shortest route.

I'm not sure about the patronage for Jan Shtabdi from chengannur. But i can say Mavelikara stoppage is an utter waste. Mavelikara got stoppages for some trainS due to "KOSU EFFECT".

Trains like Jan Shatabdi's stoppages should be limited to 1 stop per district. And towns which have industrial and commercial importance can have stoppages.

My Choice is..
Trivandrum, kollam, kayamkulam, Thiruvalla, kottayam, Ernakulam,Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur, Tirur, kozhikode, Thalasserry, Kannur

This will be a better choice.
