HONG KONG Hiking Lamma Island
On a hot autumn day, HKT and I hiked Lamma Island from the north to south ends.
The trip begins with a boat ride from Aberdeen.
The village soon disappears and countryside dominates, as well as the three smokestacks from the power station.
After a few hills, a beach emerges with a lot of patrons.
The trail rises yet again through a series of hills with very little sight of human settlement around.
Out of nowhere, an opening reveals another fishing village on the southern end of the island.
As I was wiping the sweat off from the summer-like heat, HKT played around with my camera and took these photos :
The west coast of Hong Kong Island is clearly visible from this part of Lamma Island. We could even see the illuminated top of Highcliff and Ocean Park.
Trail Travel Time : about 1 hour
Difficulty : easy - rolling hills

Looks really good.
Reminds me of the time I went walking up Lantau. It's kind of strange that there is not many tall trees.
