look to the arrow, ignore the 769M2

Apart from the proposed Leadlight Hotel corner Newcastle/Beaufort most to the west is either cultural or educational TAFE or new construction and would remain low rise. Swan Barracks stands out as the only likely site for a tall with a ready built heritage facade.

In addition to what we know going south to the railway before megamart/WTC, on either side of Oracle along Aberdeen we should eventually see Nspire and 108 Stirling. On the big block to the north up to Weld Square is the ugly post office and other nondescript buildings. Perhaps only the church and Protestant Hall would remain. The white building behind the Head Exchange 769M2 building in this ad is the former Pilpel Print which has closed its doors after 89 years & now leased to AusTop hospitality equipment warehouse.

Yeah that's the good thing with the cultural centre, it's not really likely to be built out any time soon. So the view to city is diagonally in line with that.

2 Victoria Avenue has been renamed the Optus Centre.

Optus has leased the top floor of the building along with the building naming and signage rights.

Linkforce Engineering and Main Roads WA have also leased whole floors of the Optus Centre (previously known as 2 Victoria Avenue).
Each of these tenants will be vacating older office buildings within the CBD and CBD fringe.

Full floor refurbishments have been completed on each floor throughout the building including an upgrade to base building services,
new wall and floor finishes and all bathrooms were redecorated. Brand new End of Trip facilities have been expanded upon and
re-designed in the basement.

The new tenants of the Optus Centre, Perth (previously 2 Vic Ave) are:

Ground Level, 1,756sqm - Linkforce Engineering
Level 2, 2,005sqm - Main Roads WA
Level 3, 1,908sqm - Optus Administration

Don't Main Roads already have a dedicated office tower over in East Perth near the WACA?

Yep, doesn't take as long to reach orbit the closer to the equator the launch site is, hence why the Soviet Union had their launch sites at Baikonur in present day Kazakhstan as it was one of the closest parts of the Union that was nearest to the equator and also had relatively ideal weather conditions for launching spacecraft. So that said, somewhere in either the Tanami or Great Sandy Desert would be ideal as they also wouldn't have much in the way of environmental impacts to deal with compared with other more biologically diverse biomes in that latitude or further north.

That's awful. It's not a great building, but it's the only tower in the city with an early 2000's aesthetic.
