Quite a decent tower - the fourth tallest for Darwin I think? I had a look at elevations and it looks like it's actually 29 levels and 88 metres when measured from ground at the McMinn Street retail frontages, so I'll change the title to reflect this.

Great design, love those columns that cross over in the centre area.

Interesting colours too, looks good. That part of town will really be getting dense with good height.

Nice. A solid addition to the growing Darwin skyline...

Looks to be a decent development, it has a nice amount of retail as well which is good to see.

This proposal has been resubmitted probably with some variations. May be an indicator that it is still likely to happen.

That base looks interesting - suggests shopping complex.
But I presume it would be minor retail with offices instead, given the size.
Carpark on three floors 6-7-8?

There is currently an oversupply of apartments in the CBD area. And rental yields and prices are off. Inpex finishes in 9 - 10 months. That's going to take a large number of people out. C2 on the esplanade is basically all Inpex FIFO + there are a large number of people who moved here to BIBO. (Bus in bus out)

The retail core of the city is pretty much dead. And this is way off piste as far as retail is concerned. So i cant see any retail being viable here.

So i dont see them getting the pre-sales they need, see Sunbuild at Nightcliff and commercial on the ground floor is very unlikely to be retail.

I cant see this getting out of the ground.
