I see this was inspired by the "Bird's Nest" (for the 2008 olympics) in Beijing.

Not too bad.

If you look to all the renders on the development websites, Budapest will soon be known as "Big Boat City".

It's like good old David Lee Roth said: “Money can't buy you happiness. But it can buy you an apartment with Danube view, and a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it."

******************************

Q: How do you end a Budapest party in style?
A: Sink your yacht to make the guests go home!

The nickname is very good! This is the "Bird's Nest"

Daniel Libeskind was the first one architect whose thought was like this.
He won it later the competition of new Word Trade center.

I will have to say these reconstructions are pretty good. Modern Architecture looks its best when combined with the old at the right amount and right implementation.

A szentendrei belváros megújításával kapcsolatban nincsenek képeid/anyagod?

I will have to disagree, and say the boxy form Studium office building does not fit into the surroundings.

Those are historical warehouses, under protection .oreo.. A huge development will start there this summer, and the "Covent Garden" of Budapest will be the outcome...
