North London's very own "White Mountain" ... at the world famous home of the Spurs!

What say you SSC'ers?
Its the Park lane. Stop with this cringey nonsense

That's just economies of scale though, Anfield's extra 8250 seats cost £114m which is £13,818.18/seat. Plus as we've been hearing, our final costs could be considerably higher than initially forecast.

If they spend £100m on 5k seats that's £20k a seat.
Has their chairman lost his mind?
The £450m estimated cost is at least 6/7 years out of date. If the latest reports are true, double it then add some.

Well, yeah. But you have to choose correctly in the first place. Still looking a bit bright

I was of the belief a large part of the "new" costing was not stadium related but in connection with the larger project?

Are people really upset with the wrong shade of blue on some underground machinery?

Even my wife is less OCD than that and she has some really problems.

From what I can tell it includes the Tottenham Experience and Basement revisions but to give you an idea, Wembley, projected cost $458m, actual cost £827m, ok this may be for the whole project but then have Tottenham released the costs for development outside the stadium and club buildings?

We will never know. And that's the whole point.

Yes. The job needed to be done either way, so why not make sure to use the right colour.

A poster on SC (deathrod) just said that he went to preview his premium seat over the weekend and was told the build is 6 weeks ahead of schedule. Pinch of salt etc. but sounds promising

Isn't it just as close to Paxton now? That's not an argument. That's a question

If this were to be true, and the whole project is 6 weeks ahead, does that not mean we should be seeing some roof action very soon?

I would imagine a more realistic situation is that the critical path is on plan, but we're 6 weeks ahead on various other parts of the project (fit out etc), which ultimately doesn't mean the project is ahead of plan in its entirety.

That's not to doubt deathrod's info, more likely just the wording used by the Spurs rep he was talking to.

We cant work out a cost per seat then, can we?
From what I understand with Palace there is quite a lot of ground work to do first including the relocation of at least 1 building, so seems a bit pointless working out a cost per seat as we would never know the stadium cost.

The new stand is 13.5k so the cost per seat is 7.4k per seat.

However, the additional 8k total capacity is only part of the equation. It is the addition of modern corporate facilities that will be the main justification for the owners decision. The increase for Palace could be even more dramatic for them than other clubs who already had extensive corporate facilities.

Yes, that’s correct. Includes ground works for Hotel, Extreme Sports and 4 blocks of flats (full or partial I don’t know) and there is a double basement for at least 3 of the flat blocks. Also the Tottenham Experience is included. I also think the North Terrace project for Paxton Hose and Paxton Square is included as that has planning permission but not yet started. It is difficult to extract the exact cost of the stadium alone.
