- Mall of Arabia, launching in 2007, will be the flagship mall for Arabian Centres and a true landmark for Saudi Arabia, not in terms of setting the standard in shopping malls and retailing but also a definitive reference for the Group’s self-sufficiency and expertise in designing, building, and operating and managing real estate projects to the highest standards.

•- The project will be managed in phases. The first stage of development which relates to the Mall only, is under construction already in Jeddah.

•- Expansion involving extension into big box retail ventures, the office tower, serviced apartments and the medical facility will follow as part of the development plan.

•- The Mall of Arabia complex in Jeddah will become a land mark property not just for Arabian Centres but as well as a landmark for the city of Jeddah as well. Launching in autumn winter 2007, it will feature an impressive line of anchors as well as leading international, regional and local brands in fashion, footwear, lifestyle, entertainment and food.

• •- Supported by modern facilities and high standards of customer services it will offer far more than shopping with its strategic location, unique architecture style, excellent retail opportunities and other mixed use facilities. Mall of Arabia will be the ultimate crowd puller and define the future of retailing in the Kingdom.

•- Retailing in Mall of Arabia will be diverse, ranging in style and brands. However the core emphasis is on strong international flavor and retail standards and our position in the market with strategic alliance is to provide a consistent and top quality offer at all times.

a) there are just two towers that are built outside the uae that are named "Dubai Towers" and thats the brand of those towers, they're buildings one Dubai as well

b) UAE complanies are building a lot more towers than two, so I guess that wouldnt make it ever tower like you stated

Ouch - you're right!! - - I looked at the photos again - - this (in photos) sure appears to be a big mall....I actually visited another mall across town near the corniche...it has a curving, multi-level interior spine...that you can't see from the perimeter of the site...while also a big mall, at least the designer tried something a bit different! - sorry....

The mall in the pics is one of two under const at the OLD Jeddah Airport site - -the Municipality is currently preparing a master plan for the reuse of the whole site - its said to be a mixed use area - mid and high rise residential + shops and office space
