Tapi ini tetap saja tidak bisa menyelesaikan masalah penalty load di CGK. CGK LGW tetap dapat penalty. Yang harus GA lakukan sekarang adalah konek flights SYD atau MEL atau PER ke flight CGK SIN LGW CGK yang direncanakan di September nanti. Dengan begitu nanti hanya akan ada 1 stop dari LGW ke SYD atau MEL atau PER.

Lah problemnya kan PCN runway Soetta yang gak bisa angkut beban B77W fully load (cargo+passenger+fuel) untuk sektor CGK-AMS/LGW. So SYD-CGK gak ada masalah, tapi begitu lanjut sektor CGK-LGW (or AMS) langsung kena penalti karena masalah PCN ini kan??

Nah sebenernya juga kepikiran ini dari kemarin. Fuel buat ke Eropa nonstop itu bukan main loh banyaknya, kalau dapet selisih dikit aja, kaliin belinya segitu banyak, dikali year round trip ke Europe, pasti kerasa selisihnya. Pantesan GA juga berani buka CDG sama FRA via SIN, variable cost nya lebih murah, berani lah saingan harga sama tetangga sebelah

Iseng2 cek harga Avtur (Jet A-1) singapore di sini website shell (ppp dot shell dot com slash prices.aspx)

Harga Jet A-1 untuk Changi Singapore per tanggal 23 May 2013 adalah USD 239/100 gallon, atau sekitar USD 2.4/gallon.

Sementara harga avtur pertamina dari website pertamina aviation (aviation dot pertamina dot com slash News.aspx) harga valid sampai 31 Mei 2015):

adalah USD 58.4/liter x 3.78 liter/gallon = USD 2.21/gallon. Katakanlah ini belom termasuk VAT 10%; yang kalau ditambah VAT menjadi USD 2.43/gallon.

So selisih harga avtur pertamina dan Singapore tidak beda jauh (3 cent/gallon).
Pesawat B777 fuel tank capacitynya ~49000 gallon x USD 0.03/gallon = USD 1470.

Bila dibandingkan dengan total biaya pembelian fuel 49000 gallon x USD 2.4 = USD 117,600 ,maka saving membeli fuel di Singapore vs di Jakarta hanya ~1%. Bisa dibilang perbedaan harganya negligible sih.

Tetap bisa ambil penumpang dari SIN. Penumpang dari SIN akan direct non-stop ke Eropah tapi 1 stop balik ke SIN. CGK - SIN kan banyak flightnya perhari yang bisa connect.

Nah memang keuntungan GA Adalah servisnya yang WOW Khusus Untuk european Route. apalagi setelah Baca di Skytrax banyakan european Suka Banget sama GA walaupun Banyakan dari mereka naik bisnis. wajar mereka suka
Nah Kesempatan GA Walaupun harus boleh dibilang Pahit tapi demi menyelamatkan Image Jakarta sebagai gerbangnya Indonesia terpaksa dimadu ke lions demi buka Paris+Frankfurt
Padahal kan beberapa member sering Bilang Paris+Frankfurt ga Banget Karena Holdnya Lama+Rawan Telat
Padahal kalau mau menuhin 1st Class+Buesinnes lebih baik reopen GVA+ZRH

Hi all

Just want to summarize my flights experience with Garuda in April and May.

Fligh 1. April
Jakarta-Hong-Kong. Monday. A330-200. Biz class. Load factor: almost 90 pct. Departure: On time
Hong-kong - Jakarta. Thursday. Biz class. A-330-200. Load factor: less tahn 50 pct. Only front end section filled up. Departure: on time

Flight 2 in April
Jkt-Sin. Monday evening. Economy class. B737.800NG. Load factor. Almost 100pct. Departure: on time
Sin-Jkt. Economy Class. Thursday Evening. A330-200. Load factor: almost 100pct. ( i saw that biz class seat was full as well). Departure: On time.

flight 3. In May
Jkt-DPS. Saturday afternoon. A 330-200. Biz class. Load factor. Only 6 seats taken. Economy seems to be full. Departure time: on time

Fligh 4. In May
Dps-Hong-Kong. Monday morning. B737-800 NG. Load factor: 30pct. Economy seems very full with HK tourist. Departure : on time.
Hong-Kong - Jakarta. Thursday evening. A330-200. Load factor around 40pct. Only front end section occupied. Departure on time.

Service were -as you expect -top notch on all flights both in economy and biz class. All flights were on time. Realy on time without 5 -10 mins delay. Good job to GA. At least i can experienced the consistency in service from the crew and on time performance

Room for improvement: cabin ambiance management
Not consistent in playing the on board music prior to take off and after landing. Some flights played it before take off and after landing, some only play befiore take off and not prior to landing, and one flight only play after landing. Not sure who is responsible for this on each flight, is is the purser?

Second room for improvement was definately biz class lounge ambience. The hardware is good, but why not having seperated tv room for those who really want to watch tv. They should play Garuda's signature music instead to make the ambience feel relaxing, instead they always turn on the tv loudly ..and it is always TV one..with their..-you know- one of a kind quality.
