GREEN BAY | City Deck | U/C

I should have started this soomer, as the first phase is almost complete. For a project overview visit: http://www.ci.green-bay.wi.us/CityDeck/index.html

Photos from last weekend (11/7)

South end looking north. The upland portion here has been done for a few weeks now.

Another shot from the south. Future phases will add piers built out over the water.

Pano from the Cherry St. connection to the CityDeck.

Pavers, planters, benches, ShopKo Pier, the river, and the Neville Museum.

This is the connection between the CityDeck and Flatley Ct. The wood is ipe, a very, very, very dense South American wood.

Pano taken from the Flats on the Fox retail area.

From Main St. looking south. You can see the ShopKo pier, the smallest of the piers to be built, but the only one to be built as part of this first phase. Other piers will extend down to the river and connect with boat slips and transient docks.

Another shot of the pier with the pretty uninspiring Flats on the Fox building.

Some geese thinking, "what is with that bombed out building?" Oh boy.

Pano for the riverfront from the West side.

Overall, I could not be more excited about this project. The Prange's building REALLY needs to be built out, but the plan for the public space is excellent.

Green Bay has a really nice riverfront. Hope it continues to see improvment and development.

Was there for the grand opening today. Pretty impressive so far. Can't wait for something to happen with WaterMark...that will help a lot obviously
