If I talk strictly skyscrapers, there're 2 buildings that;ll always stand out for me.

Old-
Chrysler Building

New-
Bank of China

Generally speaking, I like a lot of buildings and it's so hard to pick 1. I personally think I'd choose the Pyramid of Giza as my favorite building (it's more of a structure than a building though).
