ITALY - 2014 FIVB Women's World Championship

The FIVB alternate their events between Italy and Japan (notice, two ex-Axis nations) because they get the most crowds there + Brazil and China.

I am sure if California bid for those World Champs, they would get sizeable crowds here -- LA, San Jose, Irvine and San Diego.
