The only thing I know is a little image you can se here:

http://mp.weixin.qq.com/s?__biz=MzAx...Uj61hsc%2Fs1mX

It seems to be a 100-150 metres building.
In that image you can see there's another ~200 metres planned tower at the right of that building.

And yes, in that link you will find other unknown projects , I have all of them controlled, if there's any project I haven't posted in ssc about it, it's because it's not interesting enough or the plot is yet unthouched and there's no sight of works, I don't expect many towers to start if they haven't started yet, I predict a huuuuuge property crisis in Shanghai, maybe in a few months or 2-3 years.

The only one that remains a complete mistery for me is this, I have tried to find in google earth a similar plot to the one in the render, but didn't succeed.

Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions about the projects in that link

Why do you think there will be a huge crisis? The real estate outlook for Shanghai is excellent, with high rents, low vacancy rate, central government backing and continued population growth (Shanghai is estimated to have a population of over 30million by the end of the next decade). Also Shanghai managed to stabilize its economy and is now growing at the national avarage after 10 consecutive years of sub-average growth. In the 2015 report of the Urban Land Institute, Shanghai is ranked as the Chinese city with the best investment prospects, closely followed by Shenzhen ranked second and Beijing, Guangzhou and Nanjing on 3, 4 and 5. Where they foresee a huge crisis due to oversupply and other problems is Shenyang and also Tianjin, Chongqing and Dalian have their fair share of office oversupply.

Well, maybe I'm pesimistic and I'm afraid of that, I've read a bit (only a bit) about that, I just see there are too many flats under construction, and too many huge plots cleared for massive residential construction, it seems all investors want to make money from speculation, also I saw news about that when the stocks downturn last summer, and they said that the most important crisis in China is about to come because of the huge property bubble. But I am not well informed, I was thinking about opening a thread asking about that to have a better idea. I'm very glad about what you said, it seems Shanghai is in the best position among chinese cities, now I feel more optimistic. And I'm planning to move to Shanghai to work as an architect.

Yes, there has been a property bubble in China, that already bursted 2 years ago:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chines...005%E2%80%9311)

The top-Tier cities have a very stable and positive outlook now. I guess you will have a great time as an architect in Shanghai please build us some more supertalls there

There still are Problems in the Chinese real estate market. which are largely due to Commercial space overbuilding in second and third tier cities or massive residential projects in third or fourth tier cities. Cities like Shenyang, Tianjin or Chongqing have built so much Office space, that it would take decades to absorb at the current rate. On the other hand, we must not forget that China is restructuring its economy away from a focus on industry and export to a services and knowledge driven economy. So the demand for Office space will increase massively in the next two decades. Also urbanization will continue, with e.g. Tianjin or Chongqing expected to grow massively in the same period (actually Tianjin is the fastest growing 5million+ city in China population-wise). In the end I'm still optimistic about all large Chinese cities but I'm afraid the North-East will have the hardest times transforming and may not be a good Investment opportunity in the short-term.

The "crisis" already happened and it was a slight slowdown in lower-tier cities. 1st-tier cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou are still full steam ahead with no end in sight. If you've been following China for a while you'd realize that Western economic news is very inaccurate about China and that China continues to grow at a very rapid pace.
