This may not be spectacular, at least they build it so fast that the steel structure is soon covered in cladding.

It is too early for me to judge this building. Once the glass up more, I'll have a better definition. But anyway, this building is a good fill.

The glass look sexy but yes, we have to wait a bit longer for a better view...

That cladding has me salivating! It will look great on this street lined with older buildings!

I should've known that a building designed by SO&M wouldn't fail to impress.

Looks like it's rising faster than its neighbour.

I love this tower, it's a rare throwback to the 60s box. Classy and contained, I think it might be a classic some day.

I agree, but since NY is in the habit of retro designs, why not build some more solid designs like Overseas Union Bank Centre building in Singapore. That would be something. Enough glass already, time for some concrete or granite.

How could anyone say this isn't a nice design? I like this ordinary box better than some other "modern" designs going up around the world. it's certainly better than ANYTHING in my area. With the reflective cladding, I'm sure people will grow on it and it'll become an eye catcher. Trust me, this building could have been MUCH worse.

I know that you're not from NY, but that's an utterly misinformed statement, which is belied by the following projects that are among those recently completed, u/c, or about to start:

The 400m+ and 300m+ towers at the Hudson Yards;
400 PAS;
One 57;
Torre Verre;
56 Leonard;
8 Spruce;
The BIG pyramid;
Mercedes House;
BofA; etc.
