Anyone else noticed the scumbag rag advertising on the Liverpool forum.

Any chance that they can be f*cked off this forum?

I've noticed it a few times on the Destination Kirkby or Everton FC thread. It's almost as if outsiders are unaware that the vast majority of Evertonians are equally revulsed by the rag.

and remember chaps that each time that you go Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s or The Asda, to pile a load of the other papers such as The Mirror, Express, etc on top of the Sun.

It's laughable that this tatty, smutty little rag thinks it can influence the result of the next election. Nothing other than a comic and certainly not as good as the Beano.

Unfortunately, circulation is sufficiently large and the readers so gullible that the rag represents a credible influence in politics.

Strengthen the power of parliament over the executive which has increased significantly in recent years.

Elect the House of Lords and end the power of the Prime Minister to stuff the second chamber with cronies. Constitutional reform is the prerequisite for democratic and economic reform in the UK.

Introduce Proportional Representation therefore ending the practice of a few seats in the South deciding elections. make voting compulsory and have politics taught more widely and to a higher level in schools increasing education and therefore more educated people will be less likely to be influenced by tabloids.

Obviously i have been brought not to read the sun, for obvious reasons.. but as i got/get older and developed my own understanding of the world, the more i find myself repulsed by Rupert Murdoch, anything he owns, and his almost dictator like tactics.

His hold on british politics is worrying, esp since he is so determined to stop FREE BBC News online content.
