This city is rediculously beautiful. I urge you to show some restraint when posting your pics.

Chinatown here used to be very busy on the weekend but as you can see on my photos that I took on sunday that its pretty dead and many stores are even closed for business. Chinatown nowaday is only for the tourists and some old folks who live there. Most chinese and asians would shop at those huge and fancy chinese malls in the suburbs.

In addition to this, a sizable quantity of Chinese immigrants went back to their original homes. About a decade ago, I had lots of chinese friends and acquaintances but now I can hardly see one
I wish that the city government will find ways to revive the town..

If I live in the city, I'd definitely get my groceries done in Chinatown rather than some big chinese supermarkets in the suburbs because stuffs in chinatown are cheaper and better. What the city should do is encourage the developers to build some condos and highrises in chinatown in order to put more people to live there and hence would improve the business situation in chinatown.

Yeah....beautiful Vancouver indeed. It is always nice feeling to come home from a month vacation. The airport which is very unique and a truly west coast is very welcoming.

I thought there is a plan to develop part of China town for hi-rises and condo.
