BRISBANE | Infinity Tower | 249m | 81 fl | U/C

A new tower proposed on the north-western side of the CBD in Brisbane by the developer Meriton.

It is 73 stories
414 apartments
248 carparks in 10 basement floors (this is going to have a massive hole)
It is mixed use with over 10,000 m2 of office space
And it looks a little something like this: Northern Herscel Street side

The chance of this being built are very high, and in addition to this the developer has been rumoured to be looking for a 3rd site to build a tall skyscraper for residential purposes.

Very nice tower. Could you please make a more proper thread title next time? 'Residential' isn't necessary and can be replaced by Pro. Which means proposed

Observation deck?

With Vision now scrapped are ever going to get a tower with a observation deck for those of us who can't afford to buy into one of these ivory towers? Yet again another 70+ story building going up in Brisbane without an observation deck. How dearly we need one in Brisbane.

We do however have Mt Coot-tha... I agree that an ob deck would be great, but compared to coot-tha a) You'd have to pay, whereas Mt Coot-tha is free b) From a tower in the city, you can't actually take pics of the whole city like you can from Coot-tha...

Infinity or Soleil ... which one do people prefer?

I prefer the location of Infinity as it's close to the Gallery of Modern Art ... and adds much needed height to that northern end of the city.

This end of the city centre has so much potential ... and the Kurilpa Bridge makes Brisbane's cultural precinct very accessable.
